Dev Diary #2
Hello there,
(with the Kenobi series getting closer and closer, this seems to be the proper greeting for today)
To my greatest surprise, we didn’t have to change the priority list of development efforts since last week! I know that the crypto market didn’t show its most superb form lately, but that only made us more focused, and more determined than ever to reach our goals.
I’ve just read an article on TechCrunch, where I’ve found an interesting sentence: “Giving users financial incentives to enjoy your product works well enough when those financial incentives exist, but things look a little different when the air is taken out of the space and users are left with the naked and unexciting platform.” (source)
I wholeheartedly agree! Our entire team is working to give you a platform, which is:
· Exciting: There are things to do, reasons to come back for, and economic foundations to build on.
· Purposeful: I believe that no entrepreneur can ever be cleverer than the market. Having said that, we’re counting on great teams telling US what to do by utilizing the PAAS infrastructure we’re providing.
· Incentivizing: once the two points above are met, financial incentive is not only the proverbial cherry-on-top, but real motivation to stay engaged and committed.
Let’s work on that!
So, what has happened since last week?
Staking
Everything is on track; development is happening as scheduled.
PAAS (Platform-as-a-Service)
Our architect team is working on the foundations, with the first APIs getting final definitions. By the way, if you have any ideas what endpoints you’d like to see a call, let us know!
UX/UI revamp
the UX team is conducting the research, with the implementation team eagerly waiting for the result. The guys are real pros, let’s hope that the new interface will reflect that.
Marketplace
We’re suffering some unexpected delays with this one. This seems to be a straightforward task, but we’ve found some unexpected issues once we looked deeply under the hood. Simply put, this will take a bit longer, but we’re committed to make this happen.
