During the second month of the summer our team has continued working hard on delivering substantial developments to our beloved metaverse, Next Earth, that resulted in the launch of several important new features. Let’s take a look at the progress and the new updates that bring value and utility to Next Earth lands!
3D Connect
This brand new feature lets Next Earth landowners connect their land NFT profiles with existing 3D environments, made on third-party platforms. The core of the feature is a customizable button on the land profile pages, which grants one-click access to these immersive spaces from the land NFTs. Users can link to their 3D worlds under their profile pages by filling in a dedicated form. In the beginning, the 3D Connect function supports links from the Spatial platform.
With the 3D connect function, creators can link their environments to real-world locations and make them accessible directly from the map of Next Earth. This allows any company worldwide to link an immersive 3D world to their Next Earth land NFTs, hosting events and meetings tied to their geolocation.
Business Layer MVP
The Business Layer offers a powerful platform for landowners and companies to create robust business profiles, tying them directly to their Next Earth land NFTs. This feature delivers instant value to every business joining the Next Earth metaverse, by improving their SEO and online presence.
Creating a business profile on the Next Earth Business Layer (available at www.NetToMet.com) provides companies with a digital business card, showcasing their contact details and web links on pages connected to the Next Earth land NFTs. These pages are hosted directly in Google Data Centers worldwide, optimizing search engine performance and driving traffic to their profiles. Future features will include competitive and market analysis tools, AI-based support solutions, sales and marketing automation, user profiling, content marketing, and automatic content creation, all accessible to businesses through the Business Layer. The first AI solutions are coming in August, most of them will be accessible in a Freemium format too.
Why is it good for the landowners? The possibility to create a SEO ready business page tied to geolocation could raise demand for the lands on Next Earth, that could help users to promote their land and eventually sell it to the businesses related to that territory. The businesses registered on the Business Layer pay a monthly fee for using AI and web3 services. Out of this revenue, 20% is shared with the landowners on whose virtual lands the registered businesses are operating. The Business Layer also offers its own Ambassador program, where Ambassadors can accrue additional monthly credits of $100, $50, or $10, useful for valuable subscriptions.
How can companies create Business Layer profiles? At present, only businesses owning land on Next Earth can initiate a Business Page on the Business Layer. This early-stage decision is to prioritize landowners at the MVP launch.

Treasure Hunt Alpha Testing — Second phase
During the month of July we successfully organized the second phase of the alpha testing of the Next Earth Treasure Hunt Game. Based on the valuable feedback from the first round, we have made several UI/UX enhancements, rebalanced the price ratio of different equipment, and even introduced a new tool — the Binoculars!
More than 6500 tiles have been dug on the map of the game by the users in the search of the treasure chests, in total, 4460 shovels, 245 bombs, 110 radars and 70 binoculars have been bought. Our dedicated adventurers found in total 246 chests out of the 1316 treasures hidden on the map of the Carribean. We would like to thank everybody who has participated in the game.
