The Past
From 2 to 20 June we ran a social responsibility campaign at Next Earth, where 20% of the revenue went to support SEE Turtles to implement plastic waste collecting projects.
We are grateful to our community for their participation and commitment to making a difference in the environment, and we are also proud to have offered our players a new way to directly contribute to the environment.
We are thrilled with the response to our game campaign format. The sense of community and support that was fostered throughout the duration of the game was amazing.
As a result our first game $5,703 donation was sent to SEE Turtles. From this donation, thousands of pounds of plastic waste can be collected, and recycled.
In addition, 221,000 tiles were sold, 3 million USD worth of NXTT, and 5 unique NFTs by TinyWasteland were found or given away.
The Future
We’re always looking for new and exciting partners to work with on our next big project. So in light of the great feedback we received, we have decided to expand the technology to include other projects, and we want our users to be a part of that process.
That’s why we’re giving everyone the opportunity to drop in any new ideas about possible partnerships.
Any brand they could imagine partnering with Next Earth is welcome to bid. We are looking for companies that are beneficial to the community and have high brand awareness.
